I love these carpet treads. Way better than I expected. They are super soft, most of all they stay in place! when I saw that there is no adhesive and they don't need to be nailed, I thought they would slide, but they do not. The bullnose adds a really nice look to the stairs. My main reason for needing these is because of my aging dog that was having trouble on the wood stairs. These are perfect for her. I looked at many tread options before selecting these. Excellent choice!
